During this year’s Chelsea in Bloom, our Bluebird gallery welcomed guests to celebrate the festival’s Out of This World theme.
Chelsea was abuzz as visitors from around the world arrived for the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, with many taking the opportunity to wander along the King's Road and experience the exquisite floral installations of Chelsea in Bloom. Each year, Chelsea in Bloom adopts a new theme, and this year's Out of This World concept provided the perfect backdrop for Timothy Oulton's Apollo spaceship.
Handcrafted to the exact scale of NASA's Apollo and reimagined as an intimate luxury lounge, Timothy Oulton's Apollo is clad in stainless steel and features a hand-tufted interior, banquette seating, and crystal lighting. It can even be shipped anywhere in the world.
At Bluebird, guests stepped inside Apollo while discovering our latest furniture collections, each designed to take interiors beyond the ordinary.
Dedicated to exceptional service, our ambassadors welcomed guests with floral-inspired refreshments, from rose lemonade to rose-dusted coffee served in vintage cups and saucers. Signature fresh roses by local florist Orchidya adorned the gallery, bringing the romance of the English countryside indoors.
Our front-of-house display showcased the Mars Chair, reimagining Art Deco influences through a futuristic lens with polished steel curves and hand-distressed leather. The chair was styled alongside the Gyro Crystal floor lamp, inspired by scientist Léon Foucault's gyroscope, and the Kyron side table, crafted from Moonstone - a natural crystal mineral associated with the energy of the moon.
Elsewhere throughout Bluebird, guests encountered ethereal designs including infinity mirrors that appear to stretch into another dimension, and lighting handcrafted from ancient rocks and natural crystals.
